Dr. Tina Maruszewski D.C
Chiropractic Physician
“The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease.”
Dr. Tina Maruszewski has been practicing for over ten years. She is a Michigan native and practices here, but has practiced in South Carolina and Georgia. She was a patient of chiropractic before she actually became a chiropractor. At which time she suffered with awful headaches that would last for two weeks at a time, carpal tunnel syndrome symptoms, and all over back pain that was so severe that she would use a dozen of Tylenol daily just to make it through the day. She was 15 years old when these symptoms started, 9 years old when she broke her sacrum, a bone that is the base of your spine. At the age of 21 years old she answered an ad for a desk job thinking the job would be less physical. That desk job was at a chiropractic office. After experiencing the dramatic and wonderful changes first hand, that her chiropractor provided for her she decided to become a chiropractor herself. Like they say, the rest is history! During these last several years she has continued her education in different techniques and nutrition to better help her patience on their road to recovery.
Dr. Maruszewski loves the outdoors. She has climbed Mt. Ranier twice and Mt. Shasta. Her goals are to help as many people as possible and to live life to its fullest.

Cheryl Heppard
Board Certified Health & Wellness Counselor
"When you know better, you do better." Maya Angelou
Chery Heppard is a board certified health counselor, and has a B.A in Education and English. She graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York, and has a certification from Columbia University. She is affiliated with the American Association of Drugless Practioners, and many other organizations such as Weston Price and Slow Foods. She is married to Mark who is a successful mortgage and real estate broker. They have two amazing daughters, Nicole & Julia, and a funny yellow Labrador named Penny who lives with them in West Bloomfield. She loves to read, cook, travel, do weight training, yoga and pilates in addition to spending time with her family.
She was raised on the SAD (standard American diet). Growing up, her family ate a lot of red meat, processed food, dairy products, and pop. In high school it became apparent that her metabolism was not cut out for this type of diet and she became overweight. This led to trying many diets over the years, such as a popular weight loss clinic, juice diets, soup diets, fasting diets, proper food combining, vegetarianism, Atkins, South Beach, etc. This past history allowed her to meet clients wherever they are and to help them weed through the media confusion and help them to discover what type of food plan works best for them. She has discovered the key to maintaining a healthy weight and it's very rewarding to help others discover and travel the same path to improved health and self acceptance.
Health Coaching is a process that relies on the fact that you know what is best for you, and that is what I will help you to discover. She will give you a lot of information, support and motivation along the way, but ultimately it is you who will determine what works best based on your own bioindividuality. When your diet and physical activity levels are balanced, your whole life will become better.
She differs from a traditional nutritionist or dietitian in that doesn't give you a lot of directions to follow, diets to adhere to, ask you to count calories, or require you to weigh or measure portions. She offers a practical and common sense approach to get you back on track and help you accomplish your goals. Email at: (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
